Tableau Data Engineer

Job Description :

Analytics at apree is a centralized group that partners closely with key stakeholders across the major functions of the business, including Product Management, Clinical Product, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to define and tackle the most important questions facing the business.
We are seeking technically-savvy engineers with BigQuery and Tableau experience to help with maintaining our SQL codebase and Tableau reporting on GCP.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

Education:

  • BE/B.tech in Computer Science or equivalent stream: Preferred

Must Have Skills:

  • Expert SQL skills required, with direct BigQuery and Postgres experience a strong plus
  • Moderate experience with Tableau required
  • 2- 4 years of experience in IT.
  • Working knowledge of gitlab required (pushing commits, creating merge requests, reviewing changes, etc)
  • Experience working with Datagrip and/or Google BigQuery console preferred
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to work independently
  • Able to meet with the team a couple times per week
  • Experience developing and executing test scripts / QA processes
  • Previous experience with Castlight data a bonus (e.g. former employee / contractor)
  • BE/B.tech in Computer Science or equivalent stream.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop Risk score reports in Tableau
  • Test newly generated tables in Tableau dashboards to ensure they can be migrated to the new data source while maintaining the structure and accuracy of reports.
  • Identify data discrepancies between the two systems, reconcile results with current Tableau reports, and help determine the source of any issues
