Job Purpose
You will be part of our Castlight Care Guides Platform engineering team responsible for building the applications, tools and infrastructure that enables delivery of high touch services to our members. Our audience ranges from in-house clinicians and care coordinators to external network of virtual care providers and health plan service representatives. The platform provides tools like workflow and case management, messaging and outreach, and member insights and personalized care recommendations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build new lightning components using LWC and Aura
- Implement Salesforce platform customizations using Apex
- Design, build and maintain system integrations between Salesforce instance and Castlight
backend
- Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to identify opportunities and
address them with sustainable, usable, secure, high-performance solutions
- Plan, estimate and track through the SFDX development cycle
- Automate tasks for production monitoring and maintenance
- Stay in the loop on new Salesforce products and capabilities
Specifications
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce Service Cloud development experience
- Proficiency in Apex and Lightening development
- Proficiency in SOSL, SOQL, Governor/Execution Limits and Data Modeling
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at-least one framework (Angular, React)
- Solid understanding of API fundamentals (REST, OAuth, JWT)
- Solid understanding of Salesforce platform internals (Triggers, Platform Bus, Events, Record Access, Asynchronous
Processing)
- Experienced in modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Peer Programming, Test Driven Development)
- Proven track record that demonstrates scientific approach to deal with unknowns and ability to learn new technologies/domain areas
Preferred Skills
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- 5+ years of SFDC development experience as part of an engineering/R&D organization
- Experienced in SFDX package development process
- Hands on in Java and Spring framework
- Experience with APEX REST and 3rd party API integrations from/to Salesforce
- Experience with Salesforce connector
- Experience with DevOps culture
